Muséum national d'histoire naturelle

Context

Presented in the Gallery of Paleontology at the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle, the Durfort Mammoth is one of the largest known mammoth fossils in the world. The Museum decided to launch a major restoration project to preserve this remarkable specimen, which has been severely weakened by the passage of time. In 2020, a popular sponsorship campaign was initiated to fund this restoration project. As part of this initiative, the Museum approached SISSO to create an interactive module for the virtual sponsorship of the 69 bones of the mammoth. The interactive pedestal also showcases other patrons of the campaign, which turned out to be a great success.
